The Lead DispatchHealth Medical Technician (DHMT) position is a management role that focuses on operational efficiency and is responsible for various processes that are crucial to market success. The ideal candidate should have a keen attention to detail, the ability to support service provision, and strong relationship-building skills. They will be supervised and mentored by a Market Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Provide clinical training and onboarding of new hire DHMT’s staff on various clinical topics and responsibilities. In charge of performing new hire and annual ride a longs to ensure DHMT’s provide the highest level of patient care and competency-based check offs in conjunction with CCOE (Clinical Center of Excellence).

  • Manage and oversee daily operational tasks to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the organization.

  • Lab: Collaborate with the Central Services Lab team to ensure effective management and implementation of competency training, temperature logs, recording of results, supplies, and maintenance of moderately complex certification standards within the market.

  • Fleet: Oversee and maintain market fleet by coordinating with central fleet, including scheduling maintenance, car washes, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Supply Chain: Manage the clinical office supplies inventory, including ordering, receiving, maintaining accurate counts, utilizing inventory software, auditing clinical kits for accuracy, managing lot numbers to prevent expiration, coordinating, and completing annual physical inventory count, and managing product additions, removals, and conversions while ensuring compliance with Pegasus racking system.

What You Need

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), Medical Assistant, or Paramedic required.

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare or related business field with proven ability to build strong relationships and drive results.

  • Direct experience in healthcare service operations or knowledge of organization/operational elements of senior living, home health, provider practices, hospital/health systems, is strongly preferred.

  • Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in a core science or lab science and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in chemistry and hematology, especially with experience using an i-STAT device, are encouraged to apply.

  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

  • Verbal and written communication Proficiency

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records and documentation.

  • Initiative and a sense of competitive drive

  • Ability to stay focused on results despite changing conditions

  • Strong operational, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to coordinate with IT department to resolve technical problems

  • Working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft tools

  • A desire to help people and improve the customer experience (internal and external)
